Chandigarh, 28 June 2015, Sunday 2015 (Kalsi) : The second day of ‘Kingfisher ULTRA Chandigarh Style Week’, in association with Storm Fashion Company presented intricate designs by celebrated designers Jattinn Kochhar, Sonu Gandhi and Manoviraj Khosla. The interesting fusion of incredible textures, outlines, finesse and shades earned massive admiration from the fashion aficionados.
Distinguished designer Jattinn Kochhar opened the show with his chameleon inspired collection “Karma Chameloen”. The ensemble was categorized into two parts. The former featured enticing hues and shades of flora and fauna. The latter played hide and seek withmidnight black and camouflage print in viscose, silk, lycra and jersey knits. It defined a perfect mixture of boldness, drama and pure glamour. The collection comprised of knit tunic sets for men to readymade dhoti, sari gowns, evening dresses and jumpsuits that dazzled the runway. Charismatic Natasha Suri sashayed the ramp spreading her magnificence with utmost elegance.
The much versatile Manoviraj Khosla raised the oomph factor with his fun, vibrant and desirable collection. Elegant drapes, digital prints and sequin work summed up the women’s line. The stunning pieces included skirts, dresses, palazzos and jumpsuits with laser cut leather jackets that shimmered on the runway. Equally alluring was the men’s collection bringing a twist with bold laser cut jackets artistically fused with bandis and velvet bundhgalas, along with subtle embroidery detailing. Gorgeous Priyanka Shah pranced the runway striking a charm to the evening.
Punjab’s very own Sonu Gandhi brought the curtains down for the second day of ‘Kingfisher ULTRA Chandigarh Style Week’ with her effervescent designs. Stunning Style Ambassador Meera Chopra graced the evening as the showstopper for the couturier.
An evening at ‘Kingfisher ULTRA Chandigarh Style Week’ is incomplete without the scintillating and electrifying after parties, ‘Kingfisher ULTRA Glam Nites’. True to its style, Kingfisher ULTRA kept the spirits elevated as it played host to the designers, models and prominent personalities. DJ Chico kept the pack swaying to his tunes as fashion & Good Times ruled the night.
